EyesOpenIowa offers dynamic, inclusive, and research-based trainings for educators, health professionals, and advocates, plus free virtual sessions for parents and caregivers. Whether you're earning your Certified Sexual Health Educator (CSHE) certification, refreshing your toolkit with real-world strategies, strengthening your professional resume, or getting ready for tough conversations at home, you're in the right place!

 New sessions are added regularly, and many sell out fast!

Sex Ed Starts at Home: free 30-minute Zoom Lunch and Learns for parents and caregivers. Educators and other trusted adults are welcome too.
 
 
Pre-registration is required. Choose a session above to register, and you'll receive a Zoom link by email Professional development: Most sessions count as 0.5 hours toward Certified Sexual Health Educator (CSHE) initial and re-certification
 
For educators and professionals. Unlock your potential. Transform sex ed. Inclusive, research-based trainings built for adult learners, with actionable tools, peer connection, and expert-led instruction.
CSHE core trainings. Awkward to Awesome: Core Skills, the how, and Sex Ed Staples: Core Content, the what. Always scheduled back to back. $200 each, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM CT, in person in West Des Moines, Iowa next dates coming this winter. group
 

 Registration is open year-round and sessions are scheduled based on demand. When enough people join the waitlist for a given curriculum, we schedule a training date. If you're eager to get trained sooner, custom sessions for individuals or small groups may also be arranged upon request. Email us at info@eyesopeniowa.org to get started.

Cancellation/Postponement Policy

EyesOpenIowa reserves the right to cancel a training or event if we do not reach the minimum number of participants to make the event viable by the registration closing date. In the event that we cancel a training, we will notify you using the email you used during registration and refund your full registration amount using the same method you used for payment.

In the event of inclement weather we will work to reschedule the training. If we must cancel due to weather, we will contact you via the information you provided on your registration form.

Full refunds will be provided to registrants who provide at least one week's notice of cancellation prior to training. No refunds will be given after that time.
